Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi may get stand-alone film, with project reportedly in early stages of development

Reports have been released that Disney is developing a Star Wars stand-alone movie based on the beloved noble Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Hollywood Reporter and Variety cited unnamed sources as saying that the project was in the early stages of development by Disney and Lucasfilm. The project has no script yet but British filmmaker Stephen Daldry, best known for hit ballet movie Billy Elliott (2000), is in early talks to direct it, the publications said. Disney has declined to comment.......
