Someone in another Ohio city responded to an internet ad for the car I am trying to sell. It is 10 years old with 32,000 miles on it and it was rarely driven past three years. I am suspicious because he wants to travel from another city and bring an official bank check and he said the asking price seems OK and made absolutely no attempt to bring my price down from the Kelley Blue Book price. He also implied he would not have a mechanic look at it because he said he does not know a mechanic in my city, and he would be here briefly the one day, and his granddaughter would not even be seeing the car before he buys it. I am very afraid to accept to this $7,000 check from another city.
