AI-generated articles on CNET and other Red Ventures sites will still be reviewed by an editor, but will that be enough to avoid previous missteps? Ethical use of artificial intelligence is becoming an issue, and online publisher CNET has found themselves in hot water on the front lines of this debate. This question of ethics comes down to disclosure: do people deserve to know that the content they are reading, watching, or listening to was generated by AI? And is that something that people even care to know about?
