Two Broward County residents accused of $196 million Ponzi scheme

It took Johanna M. Garcia, Pavel Ruiz Ramon Hernandez, and a team of 70 sales agents just a little over a year from June 2020 to August 2021 to raise more than $196 million from at least 15,400 investors into what they were told was a company offering small business loans. Actually, it was a Ponzi scheme, authorities are charging.
