Instagram is testing a change that would allow anyone to share links via their Stories, according to a new report. The move would be a big change for a company that has historically made it difficult to put links anywhere, especially for average users.
According to a report by The Verge, a test phase is currently underway with the idea being that Instagram will be able to see how people make use of the ability to share links.
For now, the test is small, and Vishal Shah, Instagram`s head of product, tells The Verge it`s mostly to learn how people might take advantage of links.
