What you need to know Smile has sold PDF editor PDFpen to Nitro for a cool $6 million. TextExpander is not part of the deal. Nitro will get PDFpen and the associated technology. Smile has announced that it has sold the popular PDF editing app PDFpen to Nitro. The brief press release might have been more at home in a Tweet, however.
