Tropical storm warning remains from Louisiana to Florida-Alabama border as system in Gulf of Mexico keeps chugging north

The National Hurricane Center posted tropical storm warnings for portions of the U.S. coast from Louisiana to Florida as the system moved through the central Gulf of Mexico. Forecasters expect it to strengthen into Tropical Storm Claudette before making landfall Saturday morning.
