Google could introduce a new trigger for the Assistant. What you need to know Code in the Google app suggests that a new Google Assistant trigger could soon be introduced. The setting would let users trigger Google Assistant by long-pressing the power button. The trigger has been found in the Android 12 developer preview but may also come to Android 11. Google is reportedly working on a new trigger for Google Assistant.
