Live transcriptions are on the way to unscheduled Teams meetings

Live transcriptions only rolled out to Teams a couple of months ago, and they`re already expanding to more types of meetings. What you need to know Microsoft Teams will soon support live transcriptions for unscheduled meetings. Teams will also gain support for live transcription within channel meetings. Both live transcription features could arrive as soon as July 2021, though that date is subject to change. Earlier this year, Microsoft rolled out support for live transcriptions within meetings. At the moment, live transcriptions only work with scheduled meetings, but that`s about to change. According to the Microsoft 365 roadmap, unscheduled meetings could gain support for live transcriptions as soon as July 2021 (via Neowin). In addition to adding support for live transcriptions for unscheduled meetings, Teams will soon support live transcriptions in channel meetings.
