We need to put the brakes on climate change and its impacts. The last five years were the warmest five years ever. Renewable energy such as solar and offshore wind power are important keys to slow down and reverse climate change impacts. That`s why I paid particular attention to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management`s (BOEM) announcement of a new Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) for Vineyard Wind, an 84-turbine wind farm being built off the coast of Massachusetts.
