Money secured, program revamped for people with disabilities as DeSantis signs bills

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed 23 bills late Tuesday, including a bill to help fund programs for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Another bill he signed will requires the Department of Education to develop standards and curriculum for teaching the history of the Holocaust, and develop a curriculum for instruction on a 1920 election day riot in Ocoee that targeted African-Americans.
