The Springboks won the 1995 World Cup on the 24th June at Ellis Park in Johannesburg. I was privileged to be there. It was a magnificent occasion, but the date that resonates even more with me is the 25th May, 1995. Tomorrow will be the 25th anniversary of the World Cup opener at Newlands, Cape Town. What a day, what an occasion and what a memory! I knew on that day how blessed I was to be at Newlands and seated in the press box.
