Vegetables, fruit sell at high rates in Sunday bazaars

LAHORE: Vegetable and fruit sellers taking full advantage of administration’s focus on dealing with flour crisis were openly selling b-grade items at the price of a-grade items and overcharging for almost all items in Sunday bazaars here on Sunday. Deputy commissioner and assistant commissioners visited the makeshift markets to check wheat flour supply, but they did not bother to check the quality and quantity of vegetables and fruits in the markets as a number vegetables were not available due to wrong price fixation.
