Miami Dade College, in collaboration with International Solidarity for Human Rights, commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with an installation by internationally-renowned artist Carlos Cruz-Diez. ISHR, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, also presented the Human Rights Friendly recognition awards in 4 categories: Human Rights Friendly Country, Human Rights Friendly Educational Institution, Human Rights Friendly Corporation and Human Rights Friendly Individual. The art piece, titled “Induction Chromatique,” represents Human Rights Article 27, “Right to Culture” and has been donated to the college by ISHR as part of its Route to Human Rights Project.
