KOLKATA: Post offices across the country are being turned smart with the introduction of the CSI technology but the modernization project is taking a toll on customers, who have not been able to withdraw money for two months. `The postal department has started rolling out the Core System Integration (CSI) as part of its IT modernization project. The new system is being introduced in post offices of east, south Kolkata and now in GPO.
