Woman bites assaulter´s hand, staves off attack

Nagpur: A 31-year-old physically challenged widow fought an intruder by biting his hands when he tried to force himself upon him at her shanty near Jaffer Nagar in the wee hours of Friday. Later, the neighbours tried to pin him down but the intruder fled after injuring one of them. The widow woke up with a scream after the neighbour, identified as Golu, tried to untie the knot of her dress. She was sleeping with the four-year-old daughter beside her in the ramshackle room which did not had a firm door. Golu is yet to be arrested.
