Waste transfer stations to come up at 11 places in city, CM kicks off project

GURUGRAM: CM Manohar Lal Khattar kicked off the integrated waste management project for Gurgaon and Faridabad from the city on Wednesday afternoon as residents continue protests against the plan. The minister laid foundation stones of 11 solid waste transfer stations in Gurgaon and said four more stations later. These stations will be used as temporary waste centres where the waste collected from households will be stored till it is transferred to Bandhwari for processing.
