GURUGRAM: Life hangs in the balance, literally, at Nirvana Fresco society, where residents frequently get stuck in elevators, underlining the structural fault and poor maintenance by the developer and the lift operating company. Residents alleged that there had been several incidents over the past few months, wherein occupants, including women and children, were left stranded inside one or the other elevator due to malfunction. Apart from coming to an abrupt halt midway, the lifts sometimes move very fast or very slow along the shafts, they claimed.
