Failure of state and Centre led to pesticide deaths

Nagpur: Complete failure of administration, both at the state and Centre, and use of concoction of pesticides coupled with lack of awareness about safety procedures while handling pesticides resulted in the large-scale poisoning deaths in Vidarbha. It is also the failure of regulatory mechanism at the Centre for having allowed the sale and use of banned pesticides.
