Duo arrested with firearm gets bail

Mapusa: A judicial magistrate first class (JMFC) court at Bicholim granted conditional bail to Satyajit Shetye, 27, and Ravindra Divkar, 29, both residents of Bicholim, who were arrested for allegedly possessing an unlicenced firearm, without a barrel. Shetye and Divkar were intercepted by a traffic police sub-inspector while they were travelling on the two-wheeler. They were arrested under the Arms Act and were remanded to two-day police custody.
