64-year-old man held for raping granddaughter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Pothencode police on Saturday arrested a 64-year-old man on charges of sexually assaulting his four-year-old granddaughter. The police refrained from revealing his name or address in order to protect the identity of the victim. Pothencode sub-inspector Aswini Kumar said the accused was the paternal grandfather of the child.
