Centre unhappy over poor progress of Angul Aluminium Park

BHUBANESWAR: The Centre has expressed displeasure over poor progress of the proposed aluminium park at Angul, the first of its kind in the country. The project, which will create opportunity for downstream industries in aluminium sector, is being jointly developed by Navratna PSU National Aluminium Company (Nalco) and Odisha industrial infrastructure development corporation (Idco) in an area of over 223 acres. The project is expected to generate employment opportunities for nearly 15,000 people.
