VARANASI: Uttar Pradesh urban development minister Suresh Khanna on Saturday suspended seven officials and staff for performing laxity in sanitation works. Khanna, who is also in-charge minister for Varanasi, was reviewing the progress in development works of the city at a meeting with officials of district administration, police, Varanasi Municipal Corporation, Varanasi Development Authority, UP Jal Nigam, Jal-Kal and other departments on Saturday.
