Italy Threatens EU With Closing Ports To Boats With Migrants

Italy`s European Union representative, Maurizio Massari, sent a letter on Wednesday that warned Italy was considering closing their ports to vessels from foreign countries that are bringing migrants, according to BBC News. Massari called the situation `unsustainable` with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni accusing of their European neighbors of `looking the other way.` In the past four days, around 10,000 people were estimated to have attempted the perilous journey from North Africa to Italy.
