8 deaths, 354 new patients in 24 hrs; total cases rise to 4,421: Health ministry

Eight Covid-19 patients died and 354 news cases were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of infected people in the country to 4,421, the Union health ministry said on Tuesday. The death toll due to the novel coronavirus now stands at 117, it said. Of the total 4,421 people, 326 have recovered, so far.
