Cape Town nurse tests positive

Cape Town - A paediatric nurse at one of the city´s largest private hospitals has been hospitalised after she tested positive for Covid-19. The 55-year-old was admitted to another hospital this week. The Athlone resident is believed to be a night supervisor at a paediatric unit. `She went into the hospital presenting with symptoms and was immediately placed in isolation and a test came back positive,` said a source close to the matter. She was infected by a close relative who had travelled to Turkey and she unknowingly continued to work until she start showing symptoms.
