Norris turns up D, beats Beatrice at subdistricts

FIRTH -- The Norris Titans were able to shut out Beatrice in the first quarter Tuesday night and they managed to hold onto that lead the rest of the night. Top-seeded Norris defeated second-seeded Beatrice 41-27 Tuesday night in the B-5 Subdistrict final at Norris. With the win, Norris automatically qualifies for a district final game on Saturday where win would punch their ticket to the Class B State Tournament. Beatrice will also likely play in a district final game on the road on Saturday due to their wildcard standing.
