Using these items can be a bit of a challenge, so we`ve got you covered in how they work and how to use them. What are ID Scanners? If you`ve been playing Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 2, you might have come across a couple of doors or chests that have scanners next to them. You can attempt to have them scan you, but they won`t allow you any access in your normal state of wear.
