First it was Ontario’s disgruntled teachers — now it could be the city’s outside workers. The 5,000 workers from CUPE 416 could be joining teachers on the picket lines by the end of the month after the city’s bargaining team requested a no-board report from Ontario’s Labour Ministry earlier this week. Once the no-board report is available on Feb. 10, a 17-day countdown commences towards a possible lockout or a strike at 12:01 a.m. on Feb 27.
