Giving NIA Elgar case shows police abused power: Sharad Pawar

NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday alleged that the Centre transferring the probe into the Koregaon Bhima violence case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) showed police had misused their powers and arrested innocent citizens. Pawar claimed that the NDA govt entrusted the probe to NIA `out of fear that the SIT would expose the previous govt´s illegal actions`.
