Yamunanagar boy to receive Bal Shakti Award

AMBALA: Ishan Sharma (15), a Class IX student of Yamunanagar in Haryana, will be awarded Bal Shakti Award by the President Ram Nath Kovind in New Delhi on Wednesday, January 22, for his efforts in helping a Russian woman in distress who had been cheated by her boyfriend in the same district in July 2019. The 15-year-old school boy had helped Titova Elena of Russia, who was cheated by Deepak Kumar of Rattewali village in Panchkula district on the pretext of marrying her but he robbed her off $14,606 and a mobile phone in July 2019.
