Conference asks govt to withdraw amends to CPC, CNSA Act

MANSEHRA: All Parties’ Conference, through a unanimous resolution, has demanded the government to reverse the amendments, recently incorporated in the Civil Procedure Code (CPC) and Control of Narcotics Substances Act (CNSA). “The lawyer fraternity has been on strike for the last two weeks and litigants are suffering because of it but the government is still reluctant to roll-back the amendments recently incorporated in the CPC and Control of Narcotics Substance Act,” Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council member Shahjehan Khan Swati told the conference held here on Monday.
