Nagpur: Even as the stage is set to for tiger Sahebrao to get a prosthetic limb, wildlife veterinarians, orthopaedic surgeons and forest officials are keeping their fingers crossed hoping for the experiment to be successful. The animal is now housed at the Gorewada rescue centre here. Sahebrao, a 9-year-old male, will be fitted with an artificial limb on its left paw on Saturday by experts from MAFSU´s Wildlife Research & Training Centre (WRTC), city orthopedician Dr Sushrut Babhulkar and professor of orthopaedics in University of Leeds Dr Peter Giannoudis.
