Ex-IBM officer fulfils 58-yr-old dream, completes his PhD at 78

Nagpur: Shrichandra Srivastava (78), who retired as a class one officer from the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) in 2001, never made a nameplate in his career spanning 39 years. Though it was a matter of pride for people working in government departments between the 1960s and the 1990s, Srivastava kept himself away from the honour for want of the title `Dr´.
