Death for rapists: AP cabinet OKs bill

Barely a fortnight after the gang-rape and murder of a veterinary doctor in Hyderabad, the Andhra Pradesh cabinet on Wednesday cleared a bill that proposes the death penalty in cases of sexual abuse of women. The bill also seeks to complete the entire trial along with the punishment within flat 21 days of the FIR being filed.
