NEW DELHI: Air quality in Delhi-NCR plunged deeper into the `severe` zone on Wednesday, staying in the worst category on the AQI scale for the second straight day, which prompted the authorities to take `air emergency` action. Schools in Delhi and adjoining cities were ordered shut till Friday while CM Arvind Kejriwal said he would consider extending the odd-even scheme beyond November 15.
