ADB President Visits Uzbekistan to Strengthen Partnership

TASHKENT, UZBEKISTAN (13 November 2019)- Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Mr. Takehiko Nakao today met with the President of Uzbekistan Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the second time since Mr. Mirziyoyev became President. They agreed to further strengthen the almost 25-year partnership between ADB and Uzbekistan. `ADB values its deep and strong ties with Uzbekistan since the country joined ADB in 1995, and will continue to support the country`s macroeconomic policies, structural reforms, and development priorities,` said Mr. Nakao.
