Salazar appeals four-year doping ban

Nike-backed track coach Alberto Salazar has filed a formal appeal of his four-year doping ban with the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The court registered Salazar`s appeal Monday, according to a news release. Salazar has requested additional time to provide information to the court. It`s unlikely he will have a hearing before March 2020.
