Apple invest $250M in company with Kentucky operations (PHOTOS)

Apple Inc. said Tuesday that it had awarded $250 million to Gorilla Glass maker Corning Inc., which operates a plant in Kentucky. The money came from the tech giant`s $5 billion Advanced Manufacturing Fund, which it bills as an investment in American manufacturing. It previously awarded $200 million to Corning out of the fund in May 2017. Glass for all of Apple`s iPhones and many of its other gadgets, including the Apple Watch, has been made at Corning`s Harrodsburg, Kentucky, location. The latest... ......
