Madison County 4-H hosts first Country Ham Auction

Madison County 4-H hosted its first Country Ham Auction at the Madison County Extension Office on Sept. 12. This program was the culminating event to showcase and award the 4-H youth who had participated in the 4-H Country Ham Project this year. This project is for youth ages 9-18 and youth cure two hams and participate in additional 4-H meetings throughout the year. The students kept one of their hams and the other went up for auction. This youth investment sale was supported by so many in the Madison County community.
