COIMBATORE: Tamil Nadu was put on high alert on Friday following intelligence reports that six Lashkar-e-Taiba militants had sneaked into the state by boat from Sri Lanka and were now holed up in Coimbatore. The alert from military intelligence and the Intelligence Bureau to the state home department on Thursday afternoon said the six - one Pakistani and five Sri Lankan Tamil Muslims - had disguised themselves as Hindus with tilak/vibhuti (sacred ash) smeared on their foreheads and were last seen in Coimbatore on the evening of August 21. `At present the terrorist group is in Coimbatore....
