In the small Dutch town of Margraten, more than 8,000 U.S. soldiers are laid to rest in the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial. The thousands of white marble crosses and Stars of David at the cemetery are a lasting testimony to the sacrifices of Americans during World War II.
