Police on the island of Ikaria said they found the body of British scientist Natalie Christopher on Wednesday after she vanished earlier this week, according to BBC News. Her remains were found in a ravine approximately 20 meters (66 feet) deep, in a rough mountainous area of Kerame St. Kirikos, according to Greek national police, who conducted a major search effort on land, air, and sea to find the British tourist. Greece´s ERT television reported the body was discovered by a volunteer after dozens joined in the search.
