German authorities seized nearly 5 tons of cocaine valued at more than $1.1 billion on Friday, the largest cocaine seizure in the EU country`s history, according to USA Today. Authorities made the discovery in Hamburg, a northern port city, inside a container which claimed to be holding soybeans from Montevideo, Uruguay heading to Antwerp, Belgium. But instead of soybeans, authorities found over 200 black duffel bags filled with 4,200 packets of powdered cocaine.
