Last week, the Union Cabinet approved amendments to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC) and has definitely exhibited serious concerns about the bankruptcy resolution process ongoing in the country for the last three years or so. There have been some of the big ticket matters going on in different courts and tribunals, obviously delaying the insolvency proceedings and not serving the true purpose of IBC.
