Victim named in Croydon murder

The victim of a fatal stabbing in Croydon has been named as 19-year-old Kye Manning. Police were called at approximately 21:10hrs on Thursday, 11 July to reports of a male stabbed on Brighton Road in Croydon. Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London`s Air Ambulance attended. Despite their efforts, Kye died at the scene at 21:50hrs. A post-mortem examination took place on Friday, 12 July. The cause of death was identified as a single stab wound to the heart.
