A liberal candidate endorsed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and her democratic socialist allies claimed victory Tuesday night in the Democratic primary for the Queens district attorney race -- touting far-left policies including halting certain prosecutions and closing jails.
