War of Will claimed the Preakness Stakes Saturday, capping off a day of horse racing that brought in a record handle at Pimlico Race Course in what could be the penultimate year at the track for the Triple Crown`s second jewel. The Preakness drew a crowd of 131,256, down 2.4 percent compared to 2018. This year there were nearly 7,000 fewer seats available to the public after the track`s owner, the Stronach Group, decided to shut down the Old Grandstand`s open-air section because of safety concerns.... ......
