Six drown in canal in Tamil Nadu

NAMAKKAL: Six people, including two women and three children, drowned in a canal near Paramathi-Velur in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as K Saravanan, 45, of Pothanur and his wife Jothimani, 38, his twin sons Dharakesh, 10 and Deebesh, 10, Jothimani´s friend Devishree, 37, and Devishree´s daughter Ashvika, 8. A total of seven people, including Saravanan´s brother Dhanasekaran´s son Rohith, went to take bath in the canal which was built for Tamil Nadu Paper Limited (TNPL)...
