HELLENIC REPUBLIC Piraeus, 12th April, 2019 HELLENIC STATISTICAL AUTHORITY PRESS RELEASE ACTIVITIES OF NOTARIES: Year 2017 The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) presents statistics on the activities of notaries for the year 2017. The data derive from the annual census survey on notaries which is conducted by ELSTAT on the basis of a standard statistical questionnaire filled in by the notaries all over Greece, with the cooperation of their Regional Associations. The coverage rate of the survey amounts to 97%. In 2017, the concluded notaries` deeds were 599,159 in comparison with 551,076 in 2016, recording an increase of 8.7% (Table 1).
